Quickly Change a Group of Records in your Database
You can edit records one by one by using the little e to the left of the record when you are displaying a list of records in your Relevant Tools database. But that can be a very slow way to update your database. If you want to update some or all of your database at once you can use mass edit.
First select the records that you want to change by doing a search so that you have the list of records to be changed. You can also select the records using the check box on the left of the record. After you have selected the records make sure to press the button 'Select Checked Records'.

After click on 'Select Checked Records' this list will be displayed with ONLY the records that you checked. Confirm that these are the records that you want to change and then click on 'mass edit this list'.

Next select the fields that you want to change. You can select from one to 5 fields.

Now you can enter the updated information that you want all the records that you are editing to have.

Your options for the updated field depend on what type of field you are changing so if you are changing a checkbox, radio button, or menu field you may need to edit the field options before doing the mass edit.
When you click the 'Edit Data' button all your selected records will be changed at once.

After the edit is complete your database will be displayed with the changed records.
